Since the early 1970's, 89.7 WTBR FM has been broadcasting to the Pittsfield community and central Berkshire County.

WTBR is a non-commercial radio station that provides broadcast technology to high school students and adults in the community. WTBR is dedicated to providing an opportunity for local students to produce their own music programs, local sporting events and special radio programs to benefit the entire listening area.

WTBR provides hands-on training in radio broadcasting. Station sponsors provide the public with current information on student events and involvement while broadcasting a variety of music and community produced programs.

WTBR will continue to serve the educational needs of students in the Pittsfield School System with the latest technology and the best teaching practices from local broadcast professionals.
